How Advent Wealth Improvement Network Teleseminars & Teleconferences Work.
- Seminars typically last 1-3 hours and begin at 7 pm Eastern time.
- The cost varies from Free to $195.00, payable in advance online by credit card. If the call has been advertised as a FREE call, credit card information is NOT needed.
- Depending on the carrier, it may be a toll free call or not. If not, fees from your long distance phone provider may apply.
- Discounts may be available from our affiliates which may be the head of your local Real Estate Investment Club. It is suggested that you join your local meetings and ask about any discounts.
- When you are registered for a seminar, we will email you complete instructions on what to do to call in, including pass-codes and guidelines for getting the most from the seminar.
- If you are unable to participate in the live seminar but it's a subject you want to learn about, you will be able to purchase a recording (on CD or on-line MP3) of the seminar.
- If you are registered and have to cancel, you will not be charged if you cancel at least 72 hours ahead of time. If you cancel within this time, we can arrange for someone from the waiting list to take your place. After that, we can't, and that isn't fair to the guest expert and our staff.
- Our teleseminars are normally recorded. By your registering for this teleseminar, you are giving us permission to record your questions and comments, without any remuneration to you.

I have call waiting. What if I get a call during the teleseminar? |

If you have call waiting, please disable it before calling in. Check your phone book or contact your telephone company to get the Disable Call Waiting code for your area. Depending on your phone service, it will likely be one of the following three codes: *70, 70# or 1170. |

Can I talk to other participants during the call? |
|

|
Depending on the type of call, this learning medium is designed to be instructor-focused, so you should plan on interacting with the host and/or guest expert, not with other participants. If other people you know are on the call, and the call is open, please refrain from exchanges like "Hi Jane! I haven't talked to you in a while. How's the weather in San Francisco?" This just bogs down the call.
The bridge line we are using allows us to mute everyone except the interviewer and the guest expert, which we do except during the Q & A period. We also encourage everyone to mute their own phone unless they are asking a question. The less interfering sound on the line, the better everyone can hear. |
|
Will I be given a toll-free number to call? |
|
Thursday, 05 November 2009 08:04 |
|
In some instances yes, as mentioned earlier. In other cases No, you will be given a number to call using your own long distance provider. Each teleseminar or teleconference call will be using one of several phone number, but different pass-code numbers for different teleseminars. |
|
Do I have to be computer literate? |
|
Thursday, 05 November 2009 08:04 |
|
No. Teleseminars and teleconferences are not conducted via the Internet or computer.
If this call is however conducted as a Webinar, you will receive simple instructions on how to log onto the internet, but you still do not need to be computer literate. |

What if I call in and all the lines are full? |
|
Thursday, 05 November 2009 08:03 |
|
This has happened before when several people have shared their pass codes with friends. Their friends made it onto the call but they were shut out. We ask you ensure that your friends register in advance to receive their own pass-code so that we can reserve enough lines to avoid this in the future.
